The magic of the contest began to take hold.
We had team members in different states and time zones, we
had never met or talked on the phone but all the same, we
had to have a group photo. I happened to have a ready-made
montage of my family in a sandcastle, and I still had the
layered Photoshop file. It was easy to remove my family and
turn the picture over to Judd to assemble with our
individual photos. This wasn't the real Castillo but
somehow the picture of us all together on the beach in the
sunshine made Castillo start to take shape.

At the end of December 2004 we began the
"Identity" Award Challenge. The
objective of the challenge was to provide photographic
and descriptive information about each of players. The
information would later be applied to the next
Immunity Challenge. The MacLion tribe also succeeded
in winning this challenge.
