Introduction
The MacSurvivor 2004 contest officially started on 10 August 2004 when the Host of Castillo, Bill Catambay, assigned his 14 volunteers to two teams (later known as the MacLions and the iOftheTigers) and banished them to the island of Castillo.
The contest was organized as a series of rounds each of which contained an Award Challenge and an Immunity Challenge. At the end of each round, the losing team had to vote a member off the island, following the tradition of the reality TV Survivors show.
At the 4th round, the remaining team members were reassigned to a single team (the Cybernauts) and then directed to work in pairs which crossed the boundaries of the original teams. From then on, the rounds continued until there were 4 survivors left.
