The EMR contest maps will be included with the 3.1 release of EMR. If you want to play the maps prior to the 3.1 release, or don't want to download the full 3.1 package, or would like to see the maps as originally submitted for the contest (some changes will be made prior to inclusion with EMR), you can download the original contest maps from the link below.Click here to download the original maps as submitted for the contest.
Instructions:
1. Drag the files from the "place in Cavern folder" into the "Cavern" folder contained within your Excalibur folder.
2. Drag the files from the "place in Excalibur folder" into the Excalibur folder.
3. Start up the game
4. Choose Preferences -> Files (or Environment)
5. Select the map you want to play.
6. Choose Embark (repeat steps 4 - 6 to change maps).
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are playing a net map, be sure that the people you are playing with all have selected the same map in their preferences, regardless of who is gathering.
NOTE: There are special versions of Forge and Anvil that are EMR-based (for editing maps and physics). You can download the map making tools from the EMR SourceForge page.
